Today, the train system broke down again. It's becoming such a common occurrence it's kinda funny. They do seem pretty prepared to handle the situation now since they had staff assisting people, helping them figure out what route to take. They provided free shuttle bus services! Too bad I was just going to Dhoby Ghaut. Saw a reporter conducting interviews as well too bad it's a Chinese station. Can't help out there.
Checked out the new wing of Plaza Singapura as well. It was MASSIVE!! They brought in many Japanese boutiques, labels and restaurants. They're really stepping up in making it classier.
This was one of the more interesting shops and it's pretty much a collection of several Japanese labels. I saw a tee shirt I bought last summer when I was at Japan. The collection must be older and I guess they tamed the selection down for local taste since I saw nothing too outrageous. Lowry's Farm had a store wide discount as well! I like the clothes there very much but it's mostly winter stuff now.
Saw Rocksta by Soon Lee's flagship store just next to MDIS as well. I loved the drawings at the store display and hence I took a photo. Nothing inside the store particularly excited me though.
Ok that's all good night.
ETA: The last painting was actually done by my friend's friend Mary Lee! Such a small world!
